This course will cover a variety of coppice processes and products that are required to meet the OCN Level 2 standard.
This is an ideal course for woodland owners, project officers and people seeking to add value to their woodland resource.
You will learn:
- Splitting and cleaving wood using a range of tools
- Turning wood on a pole lathe
- Weaving
- Charcoal Making
Throughout the course you can choose and make a wide range of different Coppice Products, including: Hurdle Making, Stool Making, Spoon Carving, Simple Basketry, Gate Hurdles, Tent Pegs, Besom Brooms.
