Introduction to Green Woodworking

25–27 September

A great opportunity to learn the key elements of Green Wood crafts over the course of the weekend and have a go at a range of different techniques.

You will learn;

  • Sawing, splitting and cleaving
  • Properties of different woods
  • Turning on the Pole Lathe
  • Mortise and tenon joints
  • Weaving
  • Finishing

Participants will have opportunity to work on a number of craft projects of their choice including- spatulas, spoons, milking stools, framed hurdles  and  pole lathed items.
