Woodland Activities to promote Wellbeing

Location: May Hill, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, GL17 0NP

This is 2 day camping weekend and social with a focus on wellbeing. The course is designed for Social Forestry practitioners, Forest school, community and health leaders seeking to connect with woodlands and the natural way in a deeper more meaningful way.

The course will focus on active observation of woodlands and the natural world using various forms of art. Ideas for woodland activitie art, crafts, literature and wellbeing will be shared with an aim to achieve a greater understanding of woodlands and the natural world. Participants will gain the confidence to develop their own activities and inspiration to share with others.

The course will be ran at May Hill a fantastic woodland set in the Forest of Dean. A woodland Lunch will be provided. Camping on site within the woodland is available and encouraged to maximise the course experience.
