Woodland resilience – the right tree in the right place

The course will provide details on how to identify woodland types based on woodland flora, geology and location. Participants  will develop ideas on how to select  alternative tree species with appropriate ecological niche for future  woodland resilience. You will learn:

  • Plant identification
  • Soil types and related species
  • woodland classification
  • woodland pests
  • tree selection
  • woodland resilience
