Introduction to Practical Native Woodland Management

The event is being held at Cashel, the Royal Scottish Forestry Society’s own forest  in the heart of the Loch Lomond National Park.

This is a practical day for those who are involved in managing native woodlands. Participants will:

  • Learn about the theory behind managing native woodland
  • Learn about the practical management techniques for different types of native woodland
  • Learn about the different hand tools required to manage native woodland
  • Carry out practical management of native woodland
