Park Wood, Monmouth

A visit to a 5ha plantation on an ancient woodland site (PAWS), largely consisting of Douglas fir with significant areas of oak and birch. The visit, in partnership with the Monmouthshire Wildlife Trust and the Woodland Trust, will focus on the restoration of the woodland and its ground flora, and removal of the conifers. 2-5pm.
The event is FREE to SWA members. For non-members there is a charge of £20 but this INCLUDES first years membership of the Small Woods Association. Please email for further details.
