1 March

Please note the date of this event is still to be confirmed.

A Biosecurity Officer from the Forestry Commissions Plant Health Team will be leading a workshop covering a variety of current tree health issues including the identification of a variety of tree pests and diseases, their potential impact, how to record potential plant health issues and how to report to the Plant Health Team. We will also discuss how to maintain bio-security when visiting or working in woodlands.

The workshop starts at 12 noon, and will cost £20. However the event is free to those who would like to come along in the morning from 9am and get involved with some practical woodland tasks (primarily pruning low branches or removing tree shelters)
