Educational visits
Outdoor Learning
Small Woods has been providing high quality sustainability education and Forest School experiences for children and young people for many years. Add to this the beautiful setting of the Ironbridge Gorge and the delights of our own Cherry’s Café and you are sure to have a visit to remember!
Through our Forest School Outreach Project our qualified staff will plan and deliver short or long term Forest School programmes either within your own grounds or at a local woodland site. Forest School is an inspirational process that equips young people with an appreciation of the natural world through meaningful and fun mental and physical challenges.
All our activities are carried out by Forest School trained leaders with up to date CRB certification. Our on-site Woodland Classroom is suitable for woodland crafts, habitat and sustainability studies, story walks, den and camp fire making, woodland parties and much more for all ages.
