Volunteering

We value the great support which volunteers provide and without them we would not be able to operate as we do today. Our volunteers operate mainly on site at the green wood centre but also at local woodlands and community projects close by. Volunteering is renowned for skill development, socialization, and fun. So whether you want to improve your CV, make friends, or just want to give something back, making the move to volunteer could be the best decision you ever make.

Tuesday

Tuesdays are based at our Centre in Coalbrookdale on the Veolia Environmental Trust funded Wood Life Centre Project. Volunteers will help with general site improvement tasks (maintenance, fencing, some practical woodland management and the related crafts and skills.) Wednesday

Wednesday’s volunteer sessions take place at Nedge Hill Woods in Telford, this project is in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council and has Biffa Award funding for the sustainable management of the woodland and improvement for public use and access. Click here for further information
