GROWING TOGETHER

Connecting People, Nature and Place in Anglesey

We have been fortunate to secure SPF (Shared Prosperity Funding) for our project Connecting People, Nature and Place in Anglesey until Dec 2024.

Through this project, Coed Lleol / Small Woods will improve skills, community resilience and wellbeing for those furthest from the employment market by establishing and developing accessible outdoor sites, increasing learning activities and skills and improving woodlands and knowledge of the local environment on Anglesey.

Our activities and networks will also support a move towards more preventative health care which encourages behaviour change, this includes physical activity, improved wellbeing through positive group activities, a connection to nature and giving something back by improving woodland sites.

We have a wide variety of activities planned for the coming year including:

- Weekly Friday sessions
- Monthly drop in volunteer sessions
- 6 week woodland wellbeing programmes
- Taster sessions for schools and colleges
- Supported progression
- Training in woodland skills
