This event aims to teach volunteers and woodland owners/workers the ancient art of charcoal making which uses small diameter timber to convert into barbeques charcoal and biochar.

It will use two small kilns to enable candidates to see the whole process from start to finish. It's going to be smokey!!

Please bring lunch. A barbeque will be provided if people want to bring something to cook. Free Tea and Coffee and of course cake!
