If you could have help to manage your small woodland, what would you ask for? This is the question we are hoping to find answers to through a series of online workshops being held in the coming weeks. 

Small Woods is running a Test & Trial Project to help shape Defra's future grant policy and identify ideas for additional support for small woodland owners and managers. Feedback from the workshops will contribute to a report to be submitted to Defra next year. 

Help shape Defra's New Environmental Land Management Scheme (ELMS) by signing up to one of these upcoming workshops:

• 14 January 2021: The Cotswolds region
• 20 January 2021: Suffolk Claylands
• 27 January 2021: South West Peak District & Churnet Valley

All workshops start at 6pm and are expected to last for an hour and a half. If you own or manage a small woodland in the areas covered by the workshops and would like to take part, please email Steve Warwood.
