Sladebank Woods has belonged to passionate woodlanders, Martin and Kesty Jakes, for nearly 25 years! It's a lovingly managed wilderness close to Stroud town centre, in the heart of a lively neighbourhood.
At just under five acres, the woodland supports a wide range of trees, plants and wildlife, and features a small meadow, orchard, accessible pathway, off grid toilet and a variety of reciprocal roofed structures. There is also public area where the community can connect with the woodland all year round.
We look forward to being shown around this beautiful and diverse place by Martin and Kesty, with a Q&A session in the roundhouse to follow.
