The Woodland Wildlife Toolkit is aimed at anyone who owns or manages a woodland, or advises others about woodland management. It allows you to search for rare or declining species that may be in or around your woodland. It then helps you to understand the habitats and features that these species need and how to provide these habitats through practical woodland management. It was developed through a partnership of environmental NGOs together with Forestry Commission and Natural England, all of whom wanted to improve access to woodland wildlife data. The data covers Scotland, England and Wales.
In this webinar, Paul Orsi, Director of Operations at Sylva Foundation (the NGO who built the web tool) will take you through why it was developed, why it is important and how to use it to benefit the wildlife in your woodland.
This event will be run online through Teams and is exclusive to our members. Please supply your membership number when booking.
