Make a Traditional Lumber Horse (Shave Horse)

Learn how to make your own shave horse in the traditional English Bodgers style. Customised to suit your size and comfort, it will allow you to explore other greenwood crafts.

You will learn:

- to select suitable wood

- how to cut and shape wood to correct dimensions

- how to cut mortice and tenon joints

- how to mak legs stable and level

All materials will be provided, and you will spend the day making all the component parts and fitting them together. The shave horse can then be packed down to fit into your car at the end of the day.
