Make your own garden rake! Using green ash wood, you will spend the day using traditional tools and devices - a shave-horse, drawknife, tyne-cutter and a brace and bit - to cleave and shape components, before fixing it all together and giving it a try on some of the many shavings you will have created throughout the day.

- How to cleave and peg an ash pole for a handle

- How to use a tyne cutter to create identical rake ‘teeth’
