A free two-day course for those who live or work in NPT
This beginner’s course provides a comprehensive introduction of woodland structure, management, and biodiversity.
Participants will learn about the layers of a typical semi-natural woodland and explore a range of woodland management techniques such as selective logging, coppicing, and wildlife corridor creation, and how to promote biodiversity in woodlands.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to demonstrate a range of woodland management techniques and apply their knowledge to effectively maintain and enhance woodland ecosystems.
